Porcelain or composite veneer is an excellent way to redesign and reshape your teeth. Veneer is a minimally invasive procedure that can conceal any gaps, chips, stains or discolorations on your teeth. Veneers are very durable and will last many years, giving you a beautiful and long lasting smile.

The veneer process usually requires two or three appointments. The teeth are prepared by lightly buffing and shaping the surface in order to allow space for the thickness of the veneer. A mold or impression of the teeth is taken and a shade (color) will then be chosen with your help.

On the second visit, your teeth will be cleansed and the surface will be treated with special liquids to help achieve a durable bond.  Bonding cement will then be placed between your tooth and veneer to provide a permanent bond.

You will receive care instructions for your new veneers.  Proper brushing, flossing and coming in for regular dental visits will aid in the longevity of your new veneers.
